2021 sees the Canyon City Foundation awarding more than $213,000.00 in grants to six local nonprofits that will benefit many facets of the City of Azusa. The grants will assist in funding a variety of programs ranging from mental health to performing arts. Some highlights of the new programs you can look forward to seeing include:

Ask a Nurse Pop-ups: These will be held on Saturday mornings at various campuses located in Azusa Unified School District. You will be getting more information on this unique idea that will be offering nursing services in your local neighborhood.

Healthy Azusa will also have an MOU with Azusa Unified School District to provide mental health services through a broader community outreach—not just school-age children, but their families too.

One Step at a Time will be a full day no cost summit brought to the community by 4C Labs. This summit will bring over 150 individuals, including middle and high school students in AUSD, together with speakers and panelists in workshops. This will serve as a catalyst for young creative visionaries to use their skills to create tangible positive changes in our community. This is just one of the summits 4C Labs will be providing for our students over the next year.
